Description

  • Personal Chefs are responsible for preparing specialized meals for clients either in clients’ kitchens or their own. They plan meals according to clients’ specifications, preferences, and dietary needs, shop for meal ingredients, and package meals accordingly.
  • We are looking to hire a dedicated and skilled Personal Chef to prepare meals according to preferences and dietary needs.
  • To be successful as a Personal Chef, you should have sound knowledge about Keto and diet-related meals as well as excellent cost optimisation with budgeting and food purchasing skills.

Requirements

  • WAEC / OND / HND / BSc in Culinary Arts or any related field.
  • Proven cookery experience.
  • Sound knowledge of keto/healthy foods and different cuisines.
  • Proficient cost optimisation with budgeting and purchasing.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to handle criticism.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional client service skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • 1 – 10 years Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conferring with clients to determine their meal preferences, specifications, food allergies, and dietary restrictions.
  • Preparing customized meal plans for clients based on their preferences, specifications, and dietary needs.
  • Shopping for meal ingredients as well as necessary kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Inspecting meal ingredients before making purchases to ensure that they are of the highest quality.
  • Preparing meals in clients’ kitchens in accordance with food health and safety regulations.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas before and after meal preparation.
  • Appropriately packaging and labeling prepared meals that are to be consumed at a later date.
  • Providing clients with written or verbal instructions on how to heat meals.
  • Researching new meal plans and recipes.
  • Training staff or clients as required.
  • Keeping records and accounts of food purchases, preparation procedures and overall tips.
