Job Title: Supply Chain & Pharmacy Senior Officer

Location: Abuja
Reports to: Deputy Chief of Party / Technical Director

Overview

  • The Supply Chain and Pharmacy Senior officers will Support/Lead the overall planning, implementation and delivery of high-quality supply chain and pharmaceutical care, pharmacovigilance and DMOC services as well as the implementation of an efficient health commodity logistics system for the organization in accordance with donor requirements and stipulated guidelines of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Support the state level implementation, monitoring, service quality governance and reporting of CPARP, CARC and other DSD models.
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and improving a logistics management information system and an electronic inventory control system of stocking and tracking commodities.
  • Responsible for designing coordinated systems for the transportation of health commodities, reporting and forecasting delivery times and performance analysis to reduce stock-outs, eliminate wastes and lower costs.
  • Support the generation of RISE harmonized LMDs, tracking of order status, stock status analysis and post-gap analysis for all supported states
  • Responsible for directing outgoing or incoming health commodities distribution activities of the project; ensuring health commodities or supplies are shipped, distributed, or received in an efficient manner and that all required inventory checks are conducted, and all variances reconciled.
  • Collaborate with the State teams to ensure LMCUs to promote and oversee an integrated approach to the supply chain management of health commodities.
  • Coordinate the pharmaceutical care and pharmacovigilance aspects of the HIV care and treatment program.
  • Support periodic training of pharmacy, medical, nursing and other staff across supported sites.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Public Health, Pharmacy, or related Health, Medical, or Social Science discipline; .
  • Demonstrated experience working with USAID/PEPFAR programs and strong familiarity with USAID reporting requirements.
  • 3+ years’ experience in management, operational and technical expertise with a preference in HIV program implementation

Required Abilities / Skills:

  • Experience in managing Supply Chain processes and information flows.
  • Work experience in logistics, preferably in an NGO setting.
  • Problem solving ability. Quick learner with practical, precise approach.
  • Knowledge of geography
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to use spreadsheets and databases.
  • Writing skills

Job Title: Supply Chain and Pharmacy Advisor

Location: Abuja

Overview

  • The Supply Chain and Pharmacy Advisor will Support / Lead the overall planning, implementation and delivery of high-quality supply chain and pharmaceutical care, pharmacovigilance and DMOC services as well as the implementation of an efficient health commodity logistics system for the organization in accordance with donor requirements and stipulated guidelines of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

  • Support the provision of technical support in strengthening pharmacy systems and pharmacists’ capacity on pharmacy best practices and quality pharmaceutical care in the areas of PMTCT, ART, TB care and reproductive health including ensuring drug inventory management across supported sites.

Reports to: State Team Lead

Overview

  • The Pharmacy and Supply Chain Officer will plan and implement the delivery of high quality pharmaceutical care, pharmacovigilance and DMOC services as well as the implementation of an efficient health commodity logistics system for the organization in accordance with donor requirements and stipulated guidelines of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the provision of technical support in strengthening pharmacy systems and pharmacists’ capacity on pharmacy best practices and quality pharmaceutical care in the areas of PMTCT, ART, TB care and reproductive health including ensuring drug inventory management across supported sites.

Job Title: Senior Informatics & Graphic Officer

Location: Abuja
Reports to: Knowledge management & Communications Coordinator

Overview

  • The Senior Informatics and Graphics officer will respond to the high demand for optics and branding by providing high level informatic and graphic expertise and guidance to Jhpiego Nigeria programs.
  • He / She will lead and coordinate social media informatics, graphic content and development for RISE programs. Manage graphic content planning, development and dissemination. Manage data presentation and ensure excellent displays of products through innovative formats to promote visibility and branding for RISE and all other Jhpiego programs.
  • Key areas of focus include and not limited to reproductive health, family planning, malaria, TB, HIV/AIDS, maternal, newborn & child health and urban health.

Responsibilities

  • Increase visibility and branding for Jhpiego programs – RISE and others
  • Support the development and implementation of programs communication and branding activities
  • Develop informatics and graphical communication tools for Jhpiego and RISE programs
  • Facilitate capacity building for communication and informatic content development and display
  • Develop and design appropriate work tools to improve program efficiencies e.g. forms, templates, branded materials, project materials, SOPs, Job aides, slides, tools, banners, posters, stickers, fliers, newsletter and much more
  • Ensure appropriate and approved branding layout and formatting of operational guidelines and training packages and all Jhpiego and RISE program display
  • Graphic design and layout finalization of edited material and preparation for final print ; liaising with printers and other service providers
  • Ensure branding and graphic content development for learning sites, social media and other visibility platforms
  • Develop program videos, guide documentary production and multimedia related materials
  • Coordinate quality improvement of products produced by vendors as relates to program prints, communication and informatic materials
  • Support and coordinate Jhpiego and RISE communication and news links and content
  • Manage documentation and archiving of Jhpiego and RISE communication products (videos, picture banks, graphics materials etc)
  • Manage and cordinate state teams materials development, archiving and capacity building
  • Facilitate graphics, branding and communication materials for all Jhpiego and RISE events and engagement with stakeholders
  • Coordinate Jhpiego and RISE event, as well as engagement with media vendors and others

Required Qualifications

  • Master degree in Arts, Communications, Science or social sciences
  • Bachelor of Arts Degree, Sciences or Social Science
  • 5+ years’ experience with an international development organization on public health/development related programs
  • Strong knowledge and experience in design software such as illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, Dream weaver, Corel draw and Acrobat painting
  • Strong knowledge and experience in video designs, production and displays
  • Good experience with donor branding specifications and implementation

Knowledge:

  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to handle a variety of assignments under pressure of deadlines
  • Initiative and ability to identify needs, results and impact especially in a busy environment
