Greenfield Consulting – Our client, a food and outdoor catering company in Lagos State is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bar Tender / Mixologist

Location: Jibowu, Yaba – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Bar tender/Mixologist is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of drinks to customers. The job responsibilities include the following:

Job Description

  • Plan drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and specials
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Plan and present bar menu and develop new cocktail recipes
  • Take inventory, restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions and ensure charges are accurate
  • Ensure the bar area is neat and tidy

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
  • Relevant training certificate (if necessary)
  • An eye for detail and understanding drink mixing tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of basic Math and computer literacy
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • A minimum of 3 years work experience as a Bar tender/Mixologist
  • Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
  • Ability to prepare variety of cocktails
  • Ability to assess customer preferences and making drink recommendations
  • Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance
