Job Title: iOS Developer (Swift)

Location: Nigeria (Remote)

Details

  • We are looking for a skilled iOS developer (swift) to integrate new APIs and improve the current DRO Health iOS app.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring application stability, directly working with the product & development teams to rapidly implement new designs, APIs and functionality into the iOS app, as well as contribute to the development of minor and major features for the iOS app.

Key responsibilities

  • Integrating new designs and features
  • Integrate new APIs
  • Setting up and maintaining the iOS CI/CD
  • Improving the current standards of the iOS app
  • Fixing bugs when they arise
  • Writing unit tests for old and new features
  • Participate in QA testing for features
  • Assisting with user acceptance of applications enhancements
  • Planning for business continuity & disaster recovery
  • Providing regular updates to key stakeholders at all levels, establishing strong relationships across the organization
  • Ensuring consistent updates to tasks on our product management software
  • Participating in Monday team meetings & daily slack standups

Experience and skills required

  • Must be able to code in Swift and can build custom UI components
  • Must have fast internet
  • Must have a Mac
  • Must be able to use the Gitflow methodology for branching and releases
  • Has experience in iOS CI/CD
  • Has experience and knows how to write iOS Unit tests
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Title: Android Developer (Java)

Location: Fully Remote
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

  • We are looking for a skilled Android Developer (Java) to maintain, support and improve the DRO Health Android app.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring application stability, directly working with the CTO & development teams to rapidly respond & resolve system incidents and user queries, as well as to contribute to the development of minor and major features for the DRO Health Android app.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing major and minor features
  • Ensuring all UI/UX designs are implemented to the highest level
  • Making functionality changes to new and existing features should the need arise
  • Fixing bugs rapidly when they arise
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Android app via suggestions, intuition and other formats
  • Identifying, designing and implementing proactive patterns that prevent application problems
  • Identifying, designing and implementing proactive patterns that help speed up development
  • Using the GitFlow methodology for version control and teamwork
  • Actively using ClickUp to view all assigned tasks and update the statuses of those tasks as they go through the development process
  • Participating in weekly video team meetings and daily slack standups.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience: 3 – 5 years.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • MUST be very proficient in Java for Android
  • Must be able to use GitFlow methodology
  • Must have a good eye for design. Experience with Adobe XD is a huge plus
  • Must be able to work with existing designs and execute them to the highest level
  • Must be able to integrate REST APIs
  • Must be able to work remotely
  • Knowledge and experience with Google Play Console and Firebase
  • Knowledge of unit testing

Job Title: Technical Product Associate (Internship)

Location: Fully Remote
Employment Type: Full Time

 Job Description

  • We are looking for a technical associate product manager (intern) to join our growing startup and contribute towards scaling and improving the DRO Health products.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the development and improvement of features, end-to-end management of multiple software projects, and directly working with the development and product teams to coordinate, schedule, and track the progress of DRO Health’s line-up of current and upcoming projects in a timely, controlled and predictable manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gathering and documenting requirements for the website, portals, and mobile apps
  • Assisting with the research process to identifying customer needs and market gaps
  • Providing clear ownership for and visibility of the resolution of all project risks and issues
  • Project manage the development, test, and deployment phase, ensuring cross solution testing and validation.
  • Providing regular, constructive, user-centric feedback to the product team.
  • Performing quality assurance controls on features
  • Coordinating with the engineering department to deliver functional solutions
  • Conducting research to identify customer needs and market gaps
  • Creating support and training materials for internal and external users.

Required Experience and Personal Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Have at least 1 year experience working closely with development teams.
  • Must be conversant with the agile methodology of project management (Scrum or Kanban preferably)
  • Must be a fast learner and have a good level of technical knowledge & skills.
  • Knowledge of project management tools, like Jira, Trello or ClickUp
  • Strong time management skills
  • Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Calm even in the face of chaos, have a can-do attitude, and follow up on pending queries.
  • Must be able to work remotely
  • Must have a fully functioning laptop and fast internet
  • Ability to manage expectations
  • Recognizes the power in saying ‘I don’t know’.

Remuneration

  • Starting salary: N80,000 per month
  • Other benefits include 50% off all DRO Health services (friends and family included).
