Job Title: Principal E3D / PDMS Administrator

Location: Nigeria

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Produce / prepare 3D Implementation plans in line with client Specification / requirements.
  • Conversant with ExxonMobil GPs Requirement regarding PMDS/E3D specifications / procedure / requirements for multiple platforms CATS/SPECS/MACRO database set up.
  • Project set up, maintenance and support of the system.
  • The PDMS / E3D administrator will maintain all areas of the 3D model environment for stability and maintenance.
  • The Administrator shall ensure the modeling environment works appropriately in regard to the generation, control and distribution of 3D model interfaces.
  • Project set-up, administration and user support for Aveva PDMS / E3D / E3D.
  • Full and through knowledge of PDMS / E3D Ver 12.1.0.14, E3D, Paragon, PML, CATS & SPECS
  • Review overall plot plan of the project & divide the plant to optimum number of construction areas in consultation.
  • Understands the scope of each project and has the capability to create PDMS / E3D database structures that will enable the 3D design and subsequent creation of deliverables from the project databases.
  • Create PDMS / E3D model based on 3D modeling procedure with the required databases, teams and users and access rights
  • according to PDMS / E3D Administration, Audit & control. (Establish procedures / specifications for projects and company standards relating to use of PDMS / E3D.)
  • Responsible for end-user training on the usage of customization.
  • This includes class room / remote training and preparation of training material.
  • Interact directly with users / discipline leads and document requirements and special needs related to project designs and needs.
  • Coordinate with the designers from the respective engineering disciplines to meet the project deliverables with timeliness and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate appropriately any technical issues and follow-up for quick resolution.
  • Project specific customization of system and writing macros as per project needs and for further checking the quality of PDMS / E3D outputs.
  • Follow established PDMS/E3D standards, Setup the PDMS/E3D and related systems, Maintain the PDMS/E3D project, Provide direction and support to designers
  • Provide ad hoc reports from PDMS/E3D or related databases
  • Develops staffing schedules to ensure the most advantageous utilization of available equipment.
  • Assists in developing plans for hardware and/or software purchases
  • Coordinates installation of new systems with user schedules
  • Oversees and provides technical support for customized tools, utilities and scripts to automate work processes and improve CAD productivity and efficiency; oversees and participates in performing daily maintenance on CAD databases, including researching and reconciling inconsistencies and variations in data
  • Perform routine checks on model through data verification and project auditing.
  • Create required reports from PDMS/E3D model for Layout / Material groups.
  • Extract MTO from PDMS/E3D model for uploading to VPRM or any material management system used in the project.
  • Upload specification files generated by VPRM in PDMS/E3D & check the completeness and correctness of items uploaded in PDMS/E3D.
  • Setup ISODRAFT module for generating isometrics as per project & client specifications / documents & resolve and trouble shoot isometric errors.
  • Update model review files in NAVIS WORKS format on daily basis and copy them to project server for the use of all discipline engineers.

  • Customization and creating routine for 3D Model file export and import integration with fabrication detailing software & Engineering analysis software.
  • Creation and preparation Of Macro from PML Suitable For Any PDMS/E3D Module and PML-2 Object orientated programming.
  • Transfer of specification Generated in other to PDMS/E3D & Generation of specification from piping specification.
  • Proficient in uploading of backing sheet in PGA`s & Isometrics as per project need.
  • Report Extraction as required with project suit.
  • PDMS/E3D suite of software installation and trouble shooting
  • PDMS/E3D project architecture and Databases
  • Well versed in P&ID`S, other department drawings like equipment G.A.D, Hook up etc.
  • Co-Ordination with other department for generation of Catalogue & clash free model.
  • Familiar with pipe supports & CEASER-II software.
  • Conversant with international codes and standards such as ANSI, ASTM, API, ASME and BS.
  • Detailed piping specification, valve specification, specialty items specification, Material selection/ specialty items creation from primitive on E3D.
  • Supervise and groom Designers.

Educational and Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or B.Sc in Engineering, COREN certified
  • Years of Work Experience required: minimum of 8 years
  • Age: 35 – 40 years.

Job Title: Reliability and Maintenance Specialist

Location: Nigeria

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • The Specialist will develop and lead reliability improvement processes by working closely with Clients Project Management
  • Team as well as their Operations & Maintenance Organization.

In addition, the candidate will:

  • Identify and evaluate risk and reliability improvement opportunities through assessments of plant and associated data.
  • Establish reliability models in all phases of engineering (pre-FEED to DED) and on operating facilities.
  • Lead cross discipline assessment teams, including coaching and mentoring in reliability values and techniques.
  • Utilize reliability analysis tools to identify priorities and focus the organization on the most significant improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with Project Teams to build reliability and maintainability into the facility design.
  • Develop procedures in line with equipment criticality and to comply with legislation and company standards.

Educational and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Registered Professional Engineer (or non-USA equivalent)
  • Years of Work Experience required: Minimum of 8 years demonstrable experience in the reliability environment, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry with good knowledge of all risk analysis techniques including RAM, QRA, FTA, FMEA and SIL.

Job Title: Lead, Process Engineering

Location: Nigeria

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Plans, schedules, and supervises process design and or systems work for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities projects.
  • Reviews scopes of work, budgets, commitments, schedules and progress. Makes use of progress reporting system.
  • The degree of assistance and supervision depends on scope , phase and progress of project
  • Review and management of project and general specifications, engineering procedures and engineering policy.
  • Candidates must contribute efficiently to the all kinds of process related activities related to oil and gas activities for projects, studies, proposals, estimates and / or work improvement programs. The Lead Process Engineer will be responsible for project execution within budget and time schedules, management and leading other engineers, and must be able to work independently
  • However complex matters may be discussed with a Process Specialist in the department.

The Lead Process Engineer must perform and will be held responsible for and aware of:

  • Scheduling and estimating activities
  • Establishing the definition of basis of design and design criteria.
  • Consult specialists of the Process Technology Department and elsewhere , if applicable.
  • Perform feasibility, alternative evaluation and process planning studies
  • Role and sensitivity of process operating pressures and temperature, stream analysis and properties
  • Selection of process schemes and process operating philosophy.
  • Preparation and maintenance of process flow diagrams including heat and material balances
  • Preparation and maintenance of process data.
  • Preparation and maintenance of mechanical design conditions for large process plants.
  • Preparation of process and mechanical design specifications of equipment, lines and instrumentation.
  • Preparation and maintenance of piping and instrument diagrams. Lead in screening meetings and communication with other

Job Title: Major Rotating Equipment (Compressor and Turbines) Controls, Instrumentation and Automation Specialist

Location: Nigeria

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Be in charge of Compressors and Gas Turbines controls and Instrumentation.
  • Conduct remote diagnostics and monitoring of equipment..
  • Use software in resolving vibration issues.
  • Align and support compressor and Turbine system improvement programs that will minimize/eliminate deferment.
  • Support and Sustain Compressor and Turbine systems. Implement and sustain Knowledge transfer to respective asset team personnel.

Job Title: QA / QC and Structures Integrity Specialist

Location: Nigeria

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Ensure all QA/QC services within the projects /Asset to ensure that services are delivered to specified standards.
  • Hold regular engagement with SPDC PQL on weekly basis to review outcome of all the QA/QC services under his watch and produce minutes of meeting for signature by SPDC.
  • Plan and direct activities of Facility Statutory Inspectors and On-Plot Piping Inspection Teams, inspection assignments in SQI
  • Plan and organise additional ad-hoc inspection activities as and when required
  • Maintain a clear and efficient filing system of all QA/QC activities
  • Conduct weekly review of reports in SQI; including all findings , NCR, Observations etc.
  • Hold copies of current calibration certificates for all NDT equipment used in performance of the services.
  • Coordinate the deployment of key QA/QC services around SPDC offshore facilities.
  • Define and develop the project Integrated Quality Management System, to achieve flawless and defect free delivery, in line with the requirements of industry and global standards.
  • Ensure Quality management is focused on risk-based thinking, setting clear requirements and providing quality insights, based on “Plan-Do-Check-Act” phases
  • Develop and implement project Quality Discipline Delivery Plan.
  • Develop Quality intervention programs to address risks and opportunities, optimize cost and add values
  • Provide input relevant to quality risks and management activities into PEP.

Job Title: Commissioning and Start-Up Specialist (Instrument, Control & Automation)

Location: Nigeria

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Review, advise and monitor the implementation of Integration & communication links with multiple DCS & Process Automation properitarty system.
  • Integrate Safety Instrumented System with multiple properitory DCS system and platforms in accordance with standards and statutory requirements. Review and assist to develop the Commissioning test protocols covering all Process
  • Automation system Project ITPs, covering all key project activities and work locations, Monitor, review and report to PQL /PL with respect with SATs, FATsWelding Procedures, Close out of Punchlists Control Loops logic modification and testing Quality related programmes, Alarm & Limits, Control loop performance checks , Audit Schedules and Results, etc.
  • Coordinate ITP Inspection , FAT and SAT at activities at various sites and vendors, review and comment and assist to implement the design control system logic.

Educational and Qualifications

  • B. Eng / B.Sc in relevant Engineering discipline
  • Years of Work Experience required: Minimum of 10 years operating, precommissioning/ commissioning experience in hydrocarbon facilities
  • Age: 35-40 years.

 

Job Title: Commissioning & Start-Up Specialist (Process / Mechanical)

Location: Nigeria

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Overseeing completion of multi-discipline division of work related to pre-commissioning or commissioning on projects.
  • Supporting and supervision of the commissioning team on projects.
  • Provides multi-discipline input into the scheduling, designing and planning of projects. In addition, the Commissioning Lead also develops multi-discipline commissioning strategy documents for projects.
  • Review, approve and overseeing the installation and design of minor temporary commissioning supplies and systems.
  • Review and approve all multi-discipline commissioning processes to ensure they are compliant with the procedures, specifications and standards of the project.
  • Ensure that all commissioning procedures follow all appropriate safety practices and procedures and participate in all project and company safety programs.
  • Audit commissioning activities regularly to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Communicate with the project engineering office in order to make sure that the applicable fabrication drawings are created in accordance with all commissioning requirements.

Educational and Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree and Planning Certification, must be COREN certified

Job Title: Lead, I & CA

Location: Nigeria

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • The Lead I & CA Engineer shall be responsible for the team coordination / timely provision of appropriate Instrumentation inputs in line with the various projects as defined in the scope of work for the specific project
  • In addition, he shall be able to develop new approaches to problems, prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, and monitor work to comply with applicable codes and standards.
  • Be able to use design tools and software like AutoCAD, SPI (INtools), InstruCalc to carry out design works and studies and prepare design reports (i.e. philosophies, specifications & datasheets, study reports, procedures), calculation sheets/notes, design drawings as well as conduct site visits to any project site without supervision or guidance.

  • Engineering Degree and Planning Certification, must be COREN certified
  • Years of work experience required: minimum of 10 years operating, precommissioning/ commissioning experience
