We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Plant Administrative Officer

Location: Ewekoro, Ogun

Description

  • We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Plant Administrative Officer for our power plants located at Ewekoro near Lagos, Nigeria.

Your work tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • To handle all plant related administrative activities.
  • Develop and follow through with employee related activities, Overtime scheduling, attendance, general issues and suggest areas of improvement.
  • To analyze costs and make recommendations to the Contract Manager having a view of improvement to economic performance.
  • To liaise with the PCM and logistic team on spare parts ordering, shipments and accurate deliveries at site to meet maintenance schedule requirements.
  • Liaise with Store and Tools keeper for accurate handling of tools at site and other plant consumables.
  • Coordinate site personnel travel, permits, & Visa requirements.
  • To liaise with outsourced service providers for operational support in the areas of Services of O & M, Site services Supplier selections: Canteen services, Security, Housekeeping, vehicle leasing, material management and invoice activities for materials and services. Also to ensure services are provided efficiently and supplier evaluation is conducted for improvements.
  • Facilitates all purchase requests according to plant requirements and follow through till completion.
  • To optimize assets such as inventories, receivables, fixed assets etc. tied to the contract.
  • Review plant pre-invoices for final invoicing.
  • Responsible for the acquisition of goods and services for the plant, generate reports as may be required by Contract manager.
  • To plan and schedule vehicle and logistic movements for the plant as directed by the Contract Manager.
  • To handle any other plant related administrative activity as assigned by the site Contract Manager.

Qualifications
As an ideal candidate, you will have following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Business or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • SAP knowledge and Supply Chain understanding will be considered as a plus but it is not a prerequisite.
  • An analytical mind with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Experience:

  • Candidates with several years proven job experience in power plants / marine / industrial environment.
