NoemDek Limited is an EPC Company incorporated in Nigeria in 2012, to provide specialized services to the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, FMCGs etc. Over the past five years, the firm and its international partners have supported clients on large infrastructure projects and after-sales services to ensure the assets are maintained effectively and a client’s operations run smoothly.

Job Description

  • NoemDek is a fast-growing holdings company that provides specialized services to several sectors such as Oil & Gas, FMCGs etc. We are seeking a Senior Sales Specialist to grow the firm’s Oil & Gas division by working with different industry leads to drive the firm’s revenue growth. The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria

Responsibilities
Growth Duties:

  • Develops plan to help the company acquire and retain new clients
  • Monitors and responds to changes in different industries
  • Establishes growth targets and strategy to aggressively pursue and achieve target
  • Prioritizes growth initiatives based on industry trends
  • Advises the board on human resource needs and changes needed to achieve set targets
  • Coordinates industry leads to meet set growth targets
  • Identifies other revenue yielding opportunities
  • Maintains a deep understanding and awareness of industry trends
  • Leverages existing relationships in different industries to source leads
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential

Recruiting and Career Development:

  • Designs a career plan, develops and coaches all direct reports
  • Recruits interns and other staff to fill vacancies
  • Ensures the topic leaders build expertise and train staff members
  • Runs periodic tests to ensure all employees have the right product knowledge

Strategic Planning and Reporting:

  • Develops strategic plans to achieve the firm’s objectives and proactively revise them based on new information
  • Provides periodic updates to the Board
  • Proactively develops tools/templates to facilitate easy decision making and communication

Processes and Documentation:

  • Develops and updates a document describing our sales process
  • Ensures everyone is properly trained on sales and business development process changes
  • Monitors the share drive to ensure it is complete and well labeled
  • Recommends and designs process improvement initiatives

Structure:

  • The Senior Sales Specialist will report directly to the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

  • Graduate Degree from leading institution with 2 – 7 years of management experience in a retail/merchandising, finance or marketing environment. Previous work experience with Oil and Gas services firms preferred
  • “Big picture” thinking – Be able to address top-level concerns and find the best path forward
  • Strong personal and professional judgment
  • Leadership, process management, relationship development, negotiations, communication, customer service, analysis and Excel. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint required
  • Experience in negotiation that achieved cost savings results in a related procurement role.
  • Strong organizational skills required. Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet competing deadlines with available resources
  • Outstanding communication, leadership and analytic skills

Other Skill set required:

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. Typing speed 60wpm.
