Job Title: Head of Marketing and Admissions

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • To ensure that you and your colleagues on the school’s leadership team achieve the target growth in enrollment and retention numbers in line with the annual budget
  • To ensure that the school’s key touch-points for parents, from awareness to signing and beyond, are based on parental needs and your school’s defined promises are properly designed, implemented, and monitored and that each is evaluated for its effectiveness
  • To ensure that you maintain an up-to-date evidence base of the needs and concerns of our internal and external stakeholders in relation to the growth and retention of students and that this is evidence is communicated to the Group as and when required
  • To ensure that you develop, execute and regularly monitor marketing, retention and admissions plan for the school that directs each phase of the internal and external marketing processes and that this plan is built on the school’s story and promises that are underpinned by evidence
  • Manage Marketing and Student Recruitment budget and ROI of marketing activities carried out
  • To ensure that the school has an outreach programme that widens the school’s network and positive relationships and reputation in and with the community
  • To ensure that every member of staff in the school is aware of their role in attracting, converting and retaining students and is actively and appropriately engaged in all three activities.

Job Title: School Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update academic programs to meet curriculum goals.
  • Monitor student behavior both inside and outside classrooms.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior Academic Advisors.
  • Manage student information that includes parent information, health issues, personal problems, etc.
  • Monitor student attendance and provide appropriate notifications.
  • Provide guidance to students on personal and academic concerns.
  • Discuss student progress with instructors and parents.
  • Monitor student academic progress and provide guidance to students.
  • Manage student registration activities.
  • Organizing the testing, placement and induction of students where required
  • Providing support and guidance to teachers, including leading the teacher induction and running CPD sessions where relevant
  • Time-tabling classes and allocating Counsellors or relevant teaching staff to teach appropriate classes and levels
  • Effectively manage materials and resources
  • Maintain academic administration according to the school policy
  • Carrying out lesson observation and feedback and end of course staff appraisals
  • Teaching as required to meet operational demands
  • Ensuring all end of course student reports are completed at the appropriate times
  • Ensuring all teaching resources are in place and at the end of the course are returned to Head Office
  • Assisting the Centre Manager in the day to day running of the center, including standing in for the Centre Manager in his or her absence
  • Assisting with the induction, meeting and greeting of new arrivals, planning, implementing and running weekly academic group projects and project presentations
  • Speaking to students, staff and parents about academic matters when necessary
  • Arrange peer observations and cover for the duration of peer observation

Requirements
