We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

Job Title: Technician

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibilities of the technician will be to splice fibre optic cables in both outdoor and indoor settings, read, create and maintain splicing schematics and diagrams, maintain control of the outside plant.
  • Splice fibre optic cables, construct a proper splice case, build graphical worksheets for contractors use, perform work in accordance with industry standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, recognize and repair route issues, monitors construction activities including hand hole clean up and weed control.
  • The technician is responsible for the maintenance and safekeeping of all tools and equipment.
  • The technician answers to the team lead and he is accountable to the organization at large.
  • The technician must be financially accountable/responsible for every fund that is allocated to him.

Requirements

  • The applicant should possess a Birth Certificate or Affidavit, Local Government of Origin, and at least a Primary School Leaving Certificate.
  • 3 – 9 years of work experience.
  • Applicant should possess knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles, possess knowledge of how to fusion splice both loose tube and ribbon optic cable, usage of OTDR, light source and optical power meter.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details, ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure,
  • Applicants should be ready to undertake new development/changes as the case may be.
  • The applicant must have any of these valid means of identification i.e valid driver’s license, International Passport, National Identity Card or Voter’s card.

Job Title: Team Lead

Location: Nigeria

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility of the team lead is to manage his entire team i.e (all resources, tools and equipments).
  • The responsibility of the Team Lead will be to coordinate/manage all restoration activities.
  • The team lead is expected to give updates of all work activities, either preventive or corrective maintenance with pictorial evidence.
  • Splice fiber optic cables, construct a proper splice case, build graphical worksheets for contractors use, perform work in accordance with industry standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, recognize and repair route issues, monitors construction activities including hand hole clean up and weed control.
  • The team lead is responsible for the maintenance and safe keeping of all tools and equipment.
  • The team lead answers to the Regional Manager and to the Organization at large.
  • The team lead must be financially accountable/responsible for every funds that is allocated to him.

Requirements

  • The applicant should possess Birth Certificate or Affidavit, Local Government of Origin, and at least Primary School Leaving Certificate.
  • The team lead must possess the ability to lead.
  • The team lead must possess good communication skills to clients,employee and colleagues.
  • The team lead must have a proactive spirit to all work activities.
  • Applicant should possess knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles, posses knowledge of how to fusion splice both loose tube and ribbon optic cable, usage of OTDR, light source and optical power meter, VFL,
  • Ability to pay close attention to details, ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure,
  • Applicant should be ready to undertake new development/changes as the case maybe.

Job Title: Driver

Location: Nigeria

Job Descriptions

  • Driver must maintain a proper and current driver’s license.
  • The employee (driver) reports directly to the head office (Admin)
  • The driver takes full responsibilityofthe vehicle.
  • The driver will convey the team members to officially designated locations only,in the event thatany team member needs to use the vehicle the approval has tobe gottenfrom the head office.
  • The driver is responsible for weekly vehicle statusreportthrough the team lead.
  • Zero percentage (0%) of accident rateis expectedfrom the driver.
  • The drivers are expectedto maintain a speed limit of not more than100km.
  • Driveris responsible for ensuringthat the vehicleis properly maintained.
  • The employee (driver) will operate the vehicle in such a way that will not expose the company to liability or risk.
  • Driver must followgenerallyaccepted safe driving practices and obey traffic regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
  • 4 – 8 years work experience.
