Job Title: Project Manager (PMO)

Member of: PMO (PMO Consists of the CTO, Lead Project Manager and Project Managers)

Job Description

  • Responsible for driving and overseeing the delivery of the project to ensure that the objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints.
  • Plays a key role in project governance and working with stakeholders, to ensure the agreed project outputs are delivered to enable benefits to be realised.
  • Project Management Roles And Responsibilities
  • Delivery – Create and lead the project to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints.
  • Project Management – Management and leadership of the project and the project team. Set project controls.
  • Design the project structure appropriate to stage.
  • Select and apply appropriate delivery methodologies.
  • Business Case – Coordinate development of the Business Case.
  • Budget – Track delivery within budget.
  • Resources -Schedule / manage resources to deliver on projects
  • Benefits Realisation – Ensure benefits are identified, understood, measured, tracked and owned. Stakeholder Management – Identify key stakeholders and develop effective relationships.
  • Stakeholder Management – Identify key stakeholders and develop effective relationships.
  • Risks & Issues – Identify and monitor project risks and issues. Develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate.
  • Governance – Provide key reports and support effective governance and decision making. Assurance – Support or set appropriate project assurance.
  • Change Management – Ensure effective Change Management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders.
  • Guidance & Support – Seek appropriate support, guidance and coaching from the project community. Show commitment to personal development. Promote effective individual and team performance.
  • Project Performance & Controls – Build Project Plan and apply appropriate project principles to deliver stated objectives. Identify and set appropriate Project Controls. Track and report delivery against milestones.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years’ Project Management or Delivery in a large-scale and diverse environment of project or Delivery management and related disciplines
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities
  • Legally able to work in the country in which the position is based
  • Experienced Project Management professional
  • Experience of managing TurnQuest and 3rd party applications projects
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to support and mentor junior staff
  • Excellent customer facing/customer service skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility including shift and out of hours working
