Job Description

• As a leading remote-based company we’re open to giving young and creative product designers the opportunity to join our professional and talented pool of UI / UX & Product Designers as a Graduate Trainee/ Associate.
• You will be committed to contributing to problem-solving technology solutions through innovative thinking and continuous learning
• The ability to learn and adopt new technologies is reflected in the quality of the product. As a product designer, you work between several small teams and can switch teams and projects as required.
• We need our product designers to be versatile and always eager to tackle new problems as we continue to push mobile technology adoption across Africa.
• Ideally, the candidate should be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing product designs in compliance with product design standards.
• Product designers must be skilled in product design, user research and product documentation.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields.
• 1-4 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI design
• Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop is an added advantage
• Proficient with product design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Invision, or Figma
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
• Experience creating storyboards and site mapping
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data for the best possible outcome
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently
• Professional written and interpersonal skills
• Continued education and research into UI trends and current design strategy and technology
• Experience with coding and the ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages is an added advantage.
