Job Title: Energy Optimization Engineer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objectives

  • The candidate will manage oversight of the overall energy and utilities usage at the site. This includes responsibility for budgeting for connecting grid to sites and optimize the site solar energy.
  • The position requires the competency to lead technical and operational professionals by influence toward the achievement of business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor site energy plan based of company plan.
  • Monitor and optimize energy and utilities usage on the sight.
  • Interface with Operations team in the implementation of the projects.
  • Choose contractors, check, and negotiate prices, meet contractor work’s schedule and quality.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 year experience in connecting grid to facilities.
  • Experience in solar energy experience will be an added advantage.

Functional Requirements / Skills:

  • Familiar with the electricity distribution companies (DisCo)
  • Able to multi task person.
