Job Title: Software Project Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking to hire a Software Project Management Assistant who will ensure excellent execution of activities within planned timelines and scope and can work efficiently with little to no supervision.
  • She will apply software development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban etc. to drive product development in an agile way, ensuring that quality products are made based on user-defined requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing software life-cycle methodology
  • Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities
  • Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
  • Conducting risk assessments for projects
  • Coordinating the roll-out of beta and production releases
  • Inspecting projects for quality assurance
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through post-project debrief with clients
  • Developing schedules and methods for measuring results

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a B.Sc. or B.Tech. in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science or related courses.
  • Certification in Project management is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of one year of working experience as a Software/IT project assistant/manager.
  • Experience in software development is a plus.
  • Experience in data analysis or information technology is also required.
  • S/he should have good knowledge of software project management tools such as Trello, ClickUp, Asana, MS project, Google Sheets etc., and be familiar with agile development.
  • An ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
  • Business strategy aptitude.
  • Decision-making and leadership skills.
  • Experience with remote work, great attention to detail & highly organized, Project Planning and Execution, Requirements Gathering, and Estimation skills.
