We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Sales Representative

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring high levels of call and field productivity; expected to meet and exceed expectations for call plans, use the adequate time for call planning and follow-up, preparing presentations and making appointments etc.
  • Achieve monthly sales goals within territory while adhering to all ethical sales practices and required regulations
  • Monitor and analyse data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage
  • Conduct and frequently update research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients to achieve targeted success milestones
  • Promote the company’s products/services; predicting and /or addressing clients’ needs
  • Develop and execute sales business plan for CEP within an assigned territory in accordance with approved marketing strategies ensuring that visits are in line with the full potential of the customer and territory.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years commercial experience in Distributor Management, Field Sales and Key Account Management in well-known FMCG or Pharmaceutical companies
  • Experience managing wholesalers, large retailers and Key account stores
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Sound knowledge of medical terminology and legislation
  • Commercial acumen: Ability to identify, quantify and harness opportunities. Be imaginative in finding solutions to issues, anticipating trends and opportunities, and pursuing opportunities for the business
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • Competence to make required daily calls to customers with emphasis on-call rate, call frequency and call coverage
  • Strong networking ability and influencing skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of knowledge for product portfolio to ensure effective interactions with customers
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, together with problem solving and organization skills.
