Job Title: Business Development Executive

Locations: Abuja (FCT) & Lagos

Job Description

  • The Business Development Executive will be responsible for the effective distribution of our products to distributors/ retail chain through the initiation and the Orchestration of profitable relationships with new and existing customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze our strategic business offerings and current customer portfolio to identify potential sales opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with customers and company stakeholders
  • Review and communicate proposals and cost estimates to customers and stakeholders
  • Negotiate transaction value and delivery timelines
  • Develop and test unique business strategies and concepts
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitors’ status
  • Collaborate with colleagues and peers on the sales, marketing, and product development teams to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction
  • Stay up to date on company best practices, policies, products, pricing, and promotions
  • Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field
  • 2-3 years’ experience in sales or business development either in Education, E-commerce, Retail, Garment Manufacturing and Humanitarian Aid Sector is a Must
  • Familiarity with relevant technology tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Power point) and relevant enterprise and CRM software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to think innovatively and work independently.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong relationship and networking skills.
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiating skills.
  • Proven experience conducting market analysis and identifying new territories.
  • A high level of business acumen
  • Applicant must be living in Abuja & Lagos area of Nigeria
  • Ability to travel when necessary to meet with customers and/or stakeholders and build business relationships.

Salary
Open to Negotiation.
