Job Title: Restaurant Cashier
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Description
- Operates a cash register.
- Communicates with customers, and assists other restaurant staff as needed.
- Processing credit card payments, accepting cash payments and making change, and using a point of sale (POS) system for transactions.
- Greeting guests, helping resolve customer complaints, and maintaining knowledge of the menu and sales policies.
- Responsible for counting the contents of the cash register drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals.
- Relay customers’ orders to the kitchen staff.
- Restaurant cashier will be responsible for computations and calculations of the cash in the registry.
- They will also keep safe checks that come in and out of the restaurant within the day.
- Their computation reports are required daily.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND / OND qualification with 1 – 3 years work experience.
