The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) is an independent body, established by the Electric Power Sector Reform Act of 2005 to undertake technical and economic regulation of the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry. The Commission is to, among others license operators, determine operating codes and standards, establish customer rights and obligations and set cost reflective industry tariffs. The Commission has its head quarters in Abuja.

Job Title: Analyst I – Customer Service Standards

Job Description

  • Carry out data analysis and reporting on Metering data (MD & Non-MD), Customer enumeration data, data on capping, NESI customer data.
  • Provide support in the update of Standard Regulations on Customer Services.
  • Evaluate and monitor Service Standards at the CCUs of DISCOs.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports on the daily activities of the Unit.
  • Assist in preparing KPI reports on the performance of Discos in complaints handling. Any other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • First Degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Social Sciences and Humanities.
  • Post graduate degree will be an added advantage.
  • IT Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Minimum years of experience: 4 years.
