We support both local and international organizations, businesses, government ministries and agencies, and non-profits. The research, evaluation and data processing activities at R-DATS Consulting are guided by core ethical principles and data privacy standards of our organization, the organization we work for and the country where we are to carry out the assignments. Sectors of Research Interest: Health, WASH, Food Security and Nutrition, Education, Peace and Reconciliation, financial Inclusion and Consumer Protection and Humanitarian efforts.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Proposal Writer (Intern)

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Internship

Responsibilities
The Proposal Writer Intern will be expected to carry out the following activities:

• Work with the R-DATS team to develop proposals to be shared with intended Partners.
• Attend meetings and identify opportunities for proposal writing.
• Assist in researching/gathering information and formatting the information using the firm’s template.
• Editing and revising proposals according to feedback.
• Maintaining consistency in proposal writing by following company policies.
• Support with any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• A Degree in Social Sciences, Arts, Mathematics or related fields.
• Previous experience in proposal writing may be advantageous.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
• Must have excellent organization skills and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and enlist support, when needed.
• Capacity to use Microsoft office suites required.
• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research processes will be an added advantage.
