A Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company with depots across the country is recruiting smart and resourceful individuals to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Operations Manager

REF: SD/ SOM/ 001
Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities
The appointee will amongst other things:

  • Prepare and achieve an annual regional sales budget in the region
  • Plan development of trade channels in the region
  • Monitor performance standards to achieve sales budgets in the region
  • Ensure effective and efficient use of distributors approved credit facilities in the region
  • Drive the reporting system of field operations and monitoring of competitions in the region
  • Drive distribution and redistribution for all products in the region
  • Control stock management through the sales team and third-party agents
  • Supervise the customer services managers in the region
  • Evaluate employees’ performance and recommend appropriate rewards and sanctions Identify training needs for employees in the region
  • Create and maintain a database for distributors, wholesalers, merchandisers and key accounts in the region

Requirements
Our ideal candidate should:

  • Possess a B.Sc in Social Science with a minimum of 2nd Class Division
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in sales operations in
  • FMCG Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Have good analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Have strong leadership skills and a high degree of integrity.
