Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Description

  • We are looking to engage a competent and experienced Warehouse Coordinator who will managing the warehouse inventory by overseeing and coordinating the movement of supplies and merchandise in and out of the warehouse, including the storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of materials and products.
  • We require a hardworking, motivated, and well-organized individual with a focus on continuous improvement to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically coordinate stock control involving the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery/distribution of good, shipment loading & transferring, document recording and data entry into system databases and maintenance operations in compliance with company’s policies and visions
  • Design and develop standard operating procedures to manage warehousing and logistics; Initiate, plan, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures in relation to the company’s objectives, targets and legislation obligations
  • Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration through internal on-the-job trainings on technical requisites, as well as ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety requirements are prioritized for the security of Employees and stock
  • Synergize with the internal teams, suppliers, logistics teams, vendors and all stakeholders on optimal performance and for the implementation of cost reduction principles in all aspects of warehouse transactions, aimed at reducing turnaround time of deliverables to the clientele

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or any relevant discipline.

Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years’ proven experience in warehouse management particularly with the importation of highly valued assets
  • Inventory control experience.

Language Proficiency:

  • English (with good communication skills and accurate reporting skills).

Character:

  • Proactive self-starter and pays attention to details.
  • Self-starter with enthusiasm for a fast-paced, high-performing start-up work environment
  • Attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Highly organised and able to plan, think critically, pre-empt and communicate
  • Manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment
  • Must be self-motivated and demonstrate a sense of ownership and discretion with sensitive information

Competency and Skill Requirements:

  • Computer savvy with a knowledge of working with Warehouse Management System (WMS) technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft excel and PowerPoint in particular) for report writing and analysis
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills in relation to finance, budget and cost
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines and work in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent attention to detail.
