The provincial government of Gauteng has been promoting several jobs and employment drives in recent weeks, a boon to South Africa’s most populous region especially as unemployment weighs heavy on the country’s youth.
On Monday, the Gauteng government began promoting their latest job drive on social media, stating that there are “thousands and thousands of jobs on offer” and that applications can be made online.
According to provincial Premier Panyaza Lesufi, Gauteng is “filling all vacant and funded permanent jobs across all departments within the Gauteng Provincial Government as we open opportunities for all.”
