DigiGirls is a FREE 3-month digital skills training program designed to equip women and girls aged 15-40 years old with in-demand basic to intermediary employable digital skills. The program aims to drive positive livelihood outcomes for our beneficiaries, improve employment prospects, encourage digital entrepreneurship in women and girls, and generally provide marginalized females in underserved communities with the skills needed to develop successful careers in today’s digital economy.
Training will commence in August, running for 3 months till October. Participants will take 2 compulsory pre-requisite courses, Cyber-awareness and Soft skills before choosing their specialized learning paths from one of Data Analysis, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Graphics Design or UI/UX Design.
While training is open to women and girls living in every part of Nigeria, physical training will ONLY be available to selected beneficiaries living in LAGOS and KADUNA. Virtual classes will be held for beneficiaries resident in other states of Nigeria or those who choose the virtual learning option.
