We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer

Job Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
We seek a Quality surveyor who can deliver on the following:

 

  • Ensure that employees have proper safety training and are aware of hazards in their work environment.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement health and safety management systems to identify and control hazards, mitigate risks, and promote a safe working environment on construction sites
  • Inform workers of potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental breaches to identify root causes and develop strategies to prevent their recurrence.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid protocols, and communication systems.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure emergency preparedness and effectively coordinate response efforts.
  • Ensure that safety equipment, signage, and environmental controls are in place and functional.
  • Write reports detailing accident investigations and conclusions to inform future safety measures.
  • Conduct regular health, safety, and environmental audits and inspections of construction sites to identify deficiencies, hazards, and non-compliance.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote health, safety, and environmental awareness among construction workers, contractors, and management.
  • Inspect, identify, and assist in correcting unsafe conditions, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and reporting workplace incidents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to health, safety, and environmental performance, including training records, inspection reports, incident documentation, and permits.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, Public Health Engineering, and relevant field.
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in Health Safety and Environment Officer, or similar role.
  • HSE qualification such as NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) general certificate or an equivalent.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is added advantage.

2.) Quantity Surveyor

Job Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
We seek a Quality surveyor who can deliver on the following:

  • Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure their proposals will work.
  • Negotiate pricing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, research new materials for design and cost savings, and develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
  • Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements
  • Create scopes of work, forecast upcoming demand, assist in settling invoice or contract disputes, and handle change order requests.
  • Issue purchase orders for procurement, an expedition of materials and equipment for assigned jobs.
  • Ensure compliance with project budgets and provide analysis of deviations.
  • Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
  • Negotiate and agree on contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided.
  • Keep contract files and use them as references for the future.
  • Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
  • Produce reports and statistics using computer software.
  • Maintain subcontractor and supplier insurance policies; assist in ensuring awareness and company compliance with all building codes and local construction guidelines as well as maintaining the company’s quality control program.
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers as well as establish new relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and continually improve pricing and quality of work.
  • Prepares monthly budget for all site works from site requisitions.
  • Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, building engineers, and structural engineers.

Education and Experience

  • B.Tech. and M.Tech Degree in Quantity Survey.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-graduation experience and must be currently practicing.
  • Working knowledge of construction software.
  • Membership in the NIgeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors and other relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Report To: General Manager

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but not limited to):

  • Create and upload content and images on the organization’s website and all social media handles.
  • Develops and maintains positive business relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Consult with staff to understand the goals and scope of the desired marketing program.
  • Write and dispatch email marketing campaigns.
  • Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, and development of blogs and forums.
  • Develop graphical designs such as posters, webinar materials, articles, billboards, proposals for the website, and eye-catching creative briefs for social media platforms.
  • Identifies appropriate social media platforms and other web-based tools to use in the promotion of each product and service.
  • Oversee the implementation of online marketing plans; compile and analyzes data to measure the effectiveness of such plans.
  • Provide accurate reports and analysis on campaign to company management to demonstrate effective return on investment (ROI).
  • Identify and recommend improvements and modifications to existing programs and additional or new marketing strategies and opportunities.
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and on budget.
  • Analyze existing website traffic and internet activities related to the company and services.
  • Develops innovative strategies to attract customers to the company’s brand through various web-based marketing programs and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques.
  • Collaborate with and coordinate communication among information technology, sales, research, and other departments to complete projects.

Education and Experience

  • B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Management, or any other related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.

5.) Account Officer

Job Location: Abuja

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

  • Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
  • Compile, analyze, and report monthly financial data.
  • Create periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure monthly reconciliation of accounts payables and receivables.
  • Ensure monthly and prompt payment of statutory remittance before the due date.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance.
  • Confirm approval and process payment for materials.
  • Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline.
  • Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
  • Perform quarterly audits, resolve discrepancies, and compute taxes.
  • Keep informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
  • Assist management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure prompt payment of all bank transactions.
  • Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.

Requirements

  • B.Sc in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
  • 2-5 years of experience as an accountant or any similar role.
  • Membership in a Professional Accounting body such as (ICAN ACA, ACCA, etc.) is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with the use of different accounting software, Bookkeeper, Zoho, and Quickbooks will be an added advantage.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, innovation, and creativity.

Required Competencies:

  • Practical Knowledge of office tools (search Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and QuickBooks.
  • Good understanding of IFRS and other relevant standards applicable to the real estate industry
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of the business and other matters
