We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) General Manager

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of the local business unit. General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people, and establishing policies.
  • To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive.

Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee daily business operations.
  • Evaluate and improve revenue and operations.
  • Hire and train new employees.
  • Evaluate the performance and productivity of employees.
  • Analyze accounting and financial data.
  • Design, develop, and implement growth strategies.
  • Train low-level managers and staff.
  • Create and manage budgets and optimize expenses.
  • Set policies and processes.
  • Research and identify growth opportunities.
  • Generate reports and give presentations.

Requirements and Skills

  • Degree in Business Management or related field, or a Master’s in Business Administration.
  • 5 – 10 years of work experience.
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role.
  • Good knowledge of different business functions.
  • Experience in planning and budgeting.
  • Strong organizational and leadership qualities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Computer literate.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the company’s products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • You are also involved in hiring new employees, training them in specific skill sets and procedures, and monitoring existing workers, so nothing falls through the cracks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
  • Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Plan inventory and oversee construction efficiency.
  • Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant.

Requirements and Skills
