We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: QA / QC Engineer

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • The preparation of the companies QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions.
  • Control and the distribution of all the companies quality documentation.
  • Monitor all quality related activities on the project.
  • Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the companies management.
  • Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
  • Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the project bidders.
  • Attend client quality management meetings.
  • The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
  • Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.
  • Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.
  • Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system.
  • Recommend and implement improvements when required.
  • Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site QC manager.
  • Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site QA/QC procurement manager
  • Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the customers representatives.
  • Monitor statistical method reporting.
  • Action and close all customer complaints.
  • Control all achieve documentation upon the completion of the project.

Requirements

  • Education: Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years experience in Oil & Gas EPCI projects Quality Control management positions.
  • Certifications: AWS-CWI or CSWIP3.1, ISO 9712 or ASNT II, NACE II or equivalent, ISO 9001:2015, and IRATA 2.
  • Proven technical skills with ability to work with team of Quality inspectors and supervisors (civil, welding, painting, E&I, NDT, etc.).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to adapt and represent COMPANY in discussions with contractors.
  • Software capabilities: MS Office packages – good experience in the use of Excel, Project, and any specialized software.
  • SAS HUET (or BOSIET), CA-EBS, and other mandatory operational HSE requirements.

 

Job Title: Lead Piping Engineer

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Contract

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the focal person for the preparation or review of piping design deliverables to ensure that design work executed at site meet the requirement of each project work package.
  • Reviews and provides knowledgeable technical inputs on piping engineering related technical matters to interfacing disciplines during the execution of the project work packages.
  • Responsible for executing the erection and installation of fabricated material.
  • Review new pipe fitters/fabricators assigned to ensure they are adequately qualified.
  • Ensure consumable control requirements are closely followed during site installation.
  • Complete the initial assignment probation monitoring of piping operatives and arrange the required initial NDE through the QC section. Complete surveys and provide information on the piping crew’s performance.
  • Ensure that pipe marking requirements are followed.
  • Monitor job progress and ensure quality work at the targeted schedule.
  • Assist in coordinating the preparation and execution of project inspections for the proper handling of clients.
  • Liaise and coordinate with other departments on project issues.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in the piping industry. With experience in offshore hook ups, major oil & gas projects, implementing designs & drawings.
  • Good understanding of project procedures and their requirements. Also rigging requirements and safety planning
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and standards
  • Reading and understanding of erection drawings.

Preferred Skills:

  • Use of AutoCAD & proficiency in use of SACS, STAADPro.
  • Good Communication in English and Interpersonal skills.

 

Job Title: Lead Process Engineer

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Reviews and provides knowledgeable technical inputs on process engineering related technical matters.
  • Acts as the company representative (as required) for the preparation or review of process design.
  • Monitor the performance of site installation and suggests remedial actions where required, to review schedule and quality of work.
  • Provide engineering sizing calculations for lines, control valves, relief valves and vessels, studies etc.
  • Participate in the technical reviews including, HAZIDs, HAZOPs and risk assessment and close-out actions raised.
  • Participate in process equipment purchasing tasks such as vendor bid enquiry preparation , vendor bid analysis and vendor selection.
  • Provide support to field personnel during site checkouts and commissioning site activities.
  • Resolution of field problem during construction, assessing field recommendations on process change and in the implementation of efficient correction that can reduce operational problem.
  • Implementing and initiating change management when required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or other Engineering / Science disciplines.
  • Minimum of 8 years post-graduation work experience in Operations and Technology assignments in the Oil & Gas industry. At least 3 years should have been spent in a similar position in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Ability to interfaces with Engineering, Assets, Operations, Maintenance, Technology and HSE are critical. Technical Authority (TA3) Certified in Process Engineering/Process Technology.

 

Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Engineer

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Contract

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing training to staff on hazardous materials or processes in order to prevent accidents
  • Conducting research on new materials or processes to improve safety
  • Inspecting equipment and facilities to ensure they meet safety standards
  • Recommending changes to equipment or work methods to improve safety
  • Following up on employee injuries to ensure they receive proper treatment and are able to return to work
  • Creating and maintaining occupational health and safety policies and procedures
  • Inspecting equipment to identify defects that could lead to accidents
  • Conducting investigations into accidents, injuries, or illnesses in order to identify the causes and suggest solutions
  • Establishing safety standards and policies to ensure that they are followed by all workers

Qualifications

  • Candidates should be Engineering graduates or possess a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or equivalent
  • 10 – 15 years relevant work experience in Process plant HSE design and analysis.
  • Experience in large-scale green field petrochemical & Refinery plants.
  • 10+ years related experience in Ethane cracker process HSE related details, selection, in Environment, safety, Health and fire department at leading position and good track record along with knowledge.
  • Ability to review FEED / EPC engineering contractor’s HSE design and HAZOP documents.
  • Project documents review with contractor and guide to EPC / EPCM contractor in related to HSEF applicable documents.
  • Organizes preparedness for emergency situations through training and MOCK drills are conducted.
  • Through with design codes and standards.
  • Proficient in process industry simulation tools
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, proficient in MS Office.
  • Confidence to deal with individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Proven conflict resolution skills.
  • Exposure to Ethane / Butane / Ethylene Process Technology, HSE system and best practices and participating or carrying out safety procedures like HAZOP etc.
