Job Title: Implementer Engineer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers and software development teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and develop software implementation plans, considering factors such as system compatibility, scalability, and security.
  • Implement and configure software solutions, ensuring proper integration with client systems and adherence to technical standards.
  • Perform software installations, upgrades, and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and troubleshooting of implemented solutions to identify and resolve any technical issues or bugs.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions.
  • Document implementation processes, configurations, and any customizations for future reference.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the implementation and post-implementation phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as an implementer engineer or similar role, preferably in the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software implementation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or others.
  • Experience with web services, APIs, and data integration technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON).

  • You will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the project manager.
