Job Summary
- We are seeking suitably qualified graduates to apply for a Junior Producer role in our West Africa bureau.
Job Description
- Work closely with producers in West Africa
- Manage social media accounts
- Promote content across all social media platforms
- Engage and influence posts across social media platforms
- Collaborate with producers to select and prioritize content
- Co-produce live market shows
- Research topical issues in business and economy across West Africa
- Source for content across the market shows
- Select footage and sound bites to include in the broadcast to ensure consistency
- Coordinate with the creative department to develop promotions for upcoming shows
- Scheduled guests for interviews
- Carry out reportorial duties
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mass Communication, Art, Journalism, or a related field
- Must have worked in a broadcast or digital media house (preferably television)
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
- Exceptional creativity and innovation
- Attention to detail
- Trainable and able to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Time management and organizational skills.
