The International School, University of Lagos (ISL) was founded on November 9, 1981 as an organ of the University saddled with the responsibility of providing First class Secondary School Education of International standard that is second to none in Nigeria. In 1985, the school was inspected and granted recognition and approval to present students for SSCE and GCE O’level by the WAEC and the Federal Ministry of Education.

Requirements
The applicants must possess minimum of a First Degree in relevant disciplines as follows:

  • B.Ed, B.Sc (Ed) Or B.A. (Ed) from a recognized University.
  • B.A. Or B.Sc from a recognized University with a P.G.D.E Or its equivalent.
  • Possession of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate/License is compulsory.
  • NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption is required.
  • SSCE / NECO / WASC / GCE ‘O/L’ credits in five (5) subjects) including English and Mathematics is compulsory.
  • Teaching experience in secondary school is an advantage.

Salary
ISLSS 7 STEP 2.
