Job Title: Manager – Human Resources (HR) & Administration

Location: Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Planning HR and administration activities annually
  • Setting, monitoring, and achieving HR targets
  • Managing recruitment, onboarding, and exit procedures
  • Overseeing the payroll function
  • Ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Managing employee relations
  • Running the office and facilities management functions
  • Leading the HR and administration team
  • Maintaining physical and digital personnel records
  • Update internal databases with new hire information
  • Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies
  • Gather payroll data like bank accounts and working days
  • Publish and remove job ads
  • Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed
  • Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like total number of hires by department
  • Develop training and onboarding material
  • Respond to employees’ questions about benefits (for example, number of vacation days they’re eligible for).

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess minimum of an HND / B.Sc Degree in related courses with 10+ years relevant work experience.

 

Job Title: Assistant General Manager – Finance

Location: Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for accounting and financial duties.
  • Finding gaps in the accounting processes of the company and ensure timely reporting.
  • Implementing effective policies for smooth functioning of finance department.
  • Preparing monthly financial statements as well as daily/weekly reports.
  • Makes sure that the finances of an organization run smoothly.
  • Focus on developing and maintaining adequate budgets, which include costs associated with operations such as employee benefits or marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree in related courses with 10+ years relevant work experience.
  • Need to have good experience in Handling Finance and Cost Accounting.

 

Job Title: Microbiologist – Food

Location: Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Focuses on the general biology of the microorganisms that are found in foods including: their growth characteristics, identification, and pathogenesis.
  • Specifically, areas of interest which concern food microbiology are food poisoning, food spoilage, food preservation, and food legislation.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Degree in related courses with 10+ years relevant work experience.

 

Job Title: Head of Research & Development

Location: Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Creates and manages the new product development pipeline portfolio.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to drive the Customer to Concept process to bring new products to market.
  • Identifies marketing opportunities by analyzing and defining market share, competitor market share, and available market share by product market.
  • Provides leadership and support for the design, development, refinement, and implementation of products by initiating research to identify consumer needs; develop new productsto meet consumer needs; research consumer acceptance of products; work with production to identify process improvement.
  • Prioritized new concepts/products through the development process which includes:
    • Formula and costing creation
    • Customer / Market test
    • Production Scale up
  • Responsible for Performance Evaluation Analysis.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with different stakeholders to share on emerging new ingredients, packaging and technology.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Degree in Food Technology or other related courses
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in product development processes
  • Knowledge in retort processing technology will be an added advantage
  • Independent and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Proactive in seeking solutions and solving problems
  • Team player and good communication skill.
