About the Job
The team you’ll be part of:

  • Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
  •  The Mw Technical manager is responsible for the integrity of the delivered solution to Nokia Customers from the pre-sales phase till acceptance phase. In addition to that, he/she is responsible to manage technical escalations, requests, emergency cases & outages internally and towards customer.
  • He/she will provide technical leadership to support CT team and customer by reviewing from technical perspective on project SOW, BOM, Solution Architecture and expected timeline.

  • Technical project management of large projects and programs independently ensuring good quality
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with delivery and implementation services.
  • Has E2E technical delivery ownership for the project/program
  • Develop and track detailed (daily) activity list
  • Provide status reports to the project meetings
  • Identify project risks and coordinate with Solution Architects (SAs) and PM to develop mitigation plans
  • Identify CR opportunities. Coordinate technical analysis with SA and costing of CRs
  • Plan and track execution of CRs approved by PM
  • Plans, monitors and controls activities schedule. As part of duties, Technical manager oversees sanity of deployment or network performance to minimize risks.
  • Ensures deployment progress according to committed schedule and network availability by comparing actual progress with baseline, determine and correct the causes of any perceived deviation and update and report punctual estimates to completion to stakeholders
  • Adheres to budget, committed quality and manages team involved in the deployment or Care phase as well as acting as an advocate of the PM or Care Program Manager when absent
  • Proper communications and escalations to relevant stakeholders for technical requests, emergency cases, outages and project delivery issues both internally and towards the customer. Technical Manager will need to build his own stakeholder plan and responsibility matrix
  • Fault and Technical Escalation Management
  • Experience on Preventive Care
  • Monitors and reports customer’s live network performance.  Acts to ensure network’s availability including e.g. Contractual KPI and customer SLA fulfilment
  • Contributes in creating needed service scope at Care Agreements
  • Manages SW and HW configuration information
  • Techinical Project management at Care phase, including SW/HW upgrades and updates, outage management, Care Helpdesk SLA, change deliveries, retrofits, etc
  • Organize and Manage SW Upgrade acceptance process
  • Organize MVI verification in Care phase for SW updates and upgrades
  • New SW verification in Care Phase
  • Provides technical support to Customer Team
  • Contributes in creating needed Service Scope in Care Agreements or project technical scope for deployments.

Your Skills and Experience
You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom Engineering is a MUST
  • Min 5 Years experience In Technical Role with NOKIA Wavence MW Equipment
  • Good experience in large and complex system integration projects.
  • Good exposure in MW deployment and integration
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience in Care SLA Commitment
  • PMP Certification is an advantage
  • Nokia CARE TM Certification is advantage
  • NOKIA Wavence Certification is advantage
