Elmot Int’l School is a co-educational institution that provides quality education to students and pupils at different levels: preschool, Primary, and Secondary,The focus is on the total development of the child through social-emotional needs, cognitive development, creativity, physical agility, science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM), and proficiency in literacy amongst others. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: School Principal

Location: Lugbe, Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Providing overall leadership and direction for the school.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote student learning and success.
  • Hiring, supervising, and evaluating staff members.
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal education laws and regulations.
  • Monitoring student progress and academic achievement.
  • Managing school resources and budgets effectively.
  • Communicating with parents, community members, and other stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and the community
  • Supporting and promoting a positive school culture and climate.
  • Encouraging and supporting professional development opportunities for staff members.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s Degree in Education or a related field will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience.
  • Previous experience as a school principal or in a similar leadership role.
  • Knowledge of education laws, policies, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Familiarity with technology and its use in education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and community stakeholders.
