They provide their clients (including visitors to our website) with up-to-date business, investing and financial information from Africa’s largest economy. They also have a consulting arm that provides bespoke financial management services to clients.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Head of IT

Responsibilities

  • Developing front end website architecture.
  • Experience with Php, Laravel, my sql and javascript.
  • Designing user interactions on web pages.
  • Developing back end website applications.
  • Creating servers and databases for functionality.
  • Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
  • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
  • Staying up to date of developments in web applications and programming languages. Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Write effective APIs

Standard Operating Procedures

  • Develop, review and maintain media related policies, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Responsible for conducting regular research and liaising with professionals, internal and external stakeholders across various industries to ensure best practices in the organisation.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
  • Minimum of 3+ years as a full stack developer
  • Previous experience ion the media industry or a fast paced Organisation
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of project delivery methodology
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Possesses written and oral communication skills to support decisions and recommendations
  • Conducts meetings and provides effective team-player-spirit to team members
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Strong team-player skills

Remuneration
Competitive & depending on experience (Negotiable)
