Job Title: Graduate Trainee (Finance / Internal Audit)
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Description
- We are looking for a dedicated Graduate Trainee with basic accounting and audit knowledge to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program designed to provide hands-on experience and a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices.
- Assist in internal audit activities, including the review of financial records and processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of audit documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy for future reference.
- Assist in data entry tasks, including the recording of financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Support the reconciliation of accounts, ensuring that financial records are accurate and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and summaries, contributing to timely and accurate reporting to management.
- Collaborate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to analyze financial data and trends.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation, reconciling accounts, and addressing auditor inquiries.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
- And any other task assigned to you.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
- 1 – 3 years of work experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and auditing concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Eagerness to learn and a strong commitment to professional growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 monthly.
