Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Job Description

  • The Human Resources Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the HR functions of the organization. This role involves strategic planning, policy development, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and overall HR administration.
  • The HR Manager ensures that the organization’s human resources are effectively aligned with business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
Strategic HR Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies that support the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Forecast and anticipate HR needs based on business growth and changes.

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain effective talent pipelines and networks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations during the hiring process.

Employee Relations:

  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a healthy work environment.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.

Performance Management:

  • Design and implement performance appraisal systems to assess and improve employee performance.
  • Provide guidance to managers on setting performance goals and conducting performance reviews.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities.

HR Policy Development and Compliance:

  • Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across the organization.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality.

  • Advise management on legal and ethical HR practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience 3 years in human resources management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 / month.
