Eatrite Food Services West Africa Limited, owners of Eatrite and Herfy franchises in Nigeria, is a food services company that owns chains of Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) with within Abuja and Kano.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Warehouse Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

  • Responsible for the daily execution of warehouse tasks, which includes stock counting, bin cards updates, receiving, picking, staging, loading,managing the stock levels and dispatching of stock orders

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper storage procedures and conditions.
  • Ensure that all received stock has serial, batch, and lot numbers; and shelf life written in a visible font.
  • Ensure proper allocation of space to organize commodities received and stock to be dispatched, in accordance with the FIFO system
  • Ensuring all material movements are updated on ERP system on a daily basis without any carry over.
  • Help in receiving, unloading, counting, and stocking the warehouse’s physical goods.
  • Pick things in accordance with the order form.
  • Take possession of all incoming materials, then compare them to the purchase orders.
  • Track, record, and correct any errors in orders that have been received
  • Organise the warehouse to ensure good order, tidiness, access to stock and adequate space for receiving, packing and dispatching stock all according to Eatrite Stock Management Guidelines.
  • Organize and coordinate periodic physical inventory counts and highlight variances to the manager and auditor.
  • Provide information on stock level and make purchase request.
  • Inspect all supplies to ensure it’s in line with company standards, ensure appropriate storage.
  • Conduct a visual inspection of the received stock and provide a report.
  • Reconcile the physical count with paper documentation; report discrepancies, if any.
  • Maintain all inventory records, post accordingly on daily basis and produce weekly and monthly inventory reports.
  • Ensure issuance of stock to the restaurants and post same on the ERP
  • Carryout regular stock counting that will be conducted weekly/ monthly to reconcile the system stock to avoid stock discrepancy.
  • Stock control level;Monitor maximum, minimum and low stock level and report to avoid stock out or that can negatively affect continuous flow of production activities.
  • Ensure the arrangement of goods is done in an orderly system within the store to ensure that the stock can be stored easily and retrieved whenever there is a requirement. Similarly, ensure that the stocks stay physically protected in the warehouse.
  • Perform scheduled daily cleaning, maintenance and sanitization of all storage areas
  • Organize and supervise labor during loading and picking.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management

Educational Qualifications / Experience

  • B.Sc. / HND in Accounting or relevant discipline from a reputable institution
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in store/inventory management with the hospitality sector preferably in fast food brands.

General Competencies / Requirements:

  • Knowledge of any ERP software is an added advantage
  • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong numerical skills and ability to pay attention to details
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Problem solver with strong analytical mindset
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools e.g Excel,MS Word.
  • Must reside in Abuja.
