Job Summary
- Our client is in need of an experienced head of pastoral staff. The Head of Pastoral will be responsible for creating a nurturing and supportive environment for students, promoting their personal and social development.
- They will lead the pastoral care team in ensuring the well-being of students and maintaining a positive school culture.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to provide guidance and support to students.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the pastoral care program, including the welfare and behavior of students.
- Lead a team of pastoral care staff, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote students’ well-being, mental health, and personal growth.
- Address and manage disciplinary issues and support conflict resolution among students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies as necessary to support students’ needs.
- Organize and coordinate pastoral care activities and events.
- Promote and maintain a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Stay informed about current best practices in pastoral care and student well-being.
