Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time

Job Brief

  • We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
  • As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
  • You will work closely with our kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace, assist with food preparation, and help with various tasks.
  • Your role will be essential in delivering high-quality meals to our customers and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
  • Wash, peel, and clean vegetables and fruits.
  • Organize and stock kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Assist with food assembly and plating.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, and grills.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Should possess an OND or a minimum of SSCE qualification.
  • 1 – 4 years relevant work experience in hospitality Industries.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies & Abilities:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus but not required.
  • A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
