We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supply Chain Officer

Location: Oyo

Job Responsibilities
Procurement:

  • Identify suppliers, solicit bids, and negotiate contracts for goods and services.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels and monitor stock levels to meet demand.
  • Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and reduce excess inventory.
  • Coordinate with other departments to forecast inventory needs accurately.

Logistics and Distribution:

  • Plan and optimize distribution routes to minimize transportation costs and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate with carriers, customs, and freight forwarders to facilitate the smooth flow of goods.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times and quality.

Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that products meet established quality standards.
  • Address and resolve quality-related issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Cost Control:

  • Analyze supply chain costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
  • Manage and report on budgetary considerations related to supply chain activities.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities.
  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management.

Qualification

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree .
