Hours/Rotation: Monday to Saturday; No Rotation
Job Summary / Role Description
- He executes the activities pertaining to his discipline in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
- He reports to the Commissioning Machinery Supervisor.
- He is assigned to the Project by Commissioning Department Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- To implement the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for rotary equipment.
- Keep record of all the activities carried out.
- Ensuring the safety practices are strictly followed during the execution of activities.
- Reporting the progress and constraints to the Mechanical Supervisor.
- Can be the authorized person designated by the site manager to receive or issue a Permit To Work according to the project Permit To Work Procedure
- Execute with the assigned crew from the Sub Contractor all the activities pertaining to the discipline.
- Ensure effective utilization of commissioning manpower and consumables.
- Ensure the execution of Vendor’s specialists’ field activities with the assigned resources from the Sub Contractor as per Vendor’s representative plan.
- Carry out the equipment inspection with Client representative as per the procedures and ensure proper certification is produced.
- Prepare the forms for all the tests to be performed and ensure submission of the certificates, duly signed by involved parties for final hand over to the certification engineer (QA/QC).
- Coordinate in field with the vendor representatives
- Assistance to supervisor for:
- Expediting of pending Punch List Items in accordance with Commissioning Manager (CMM) priorities;
- Coordination and supervision of Construction support activities during the performance of the pre-commissioning, commissioning activities.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent Study background.
Experience:
- Management experience for an EPC company in for, at least, two plants as Machinery Assistant(Rotating).
- Plants for the gas treatment
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, management skills
- Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
