Opportunity

  • We are looking for a candidate to take up the role of a Direct Transport Sales The Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by actively seeking out and engaging prospective customers especially those in the concerned vertical.
  • This position involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, presenting product offerings, negotiating contracts, and closing sales.
  • The Sales Representative will work closely with the sales team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and maintain a deep understanding of the market to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Customer Relationships in Nigeria, Lagos.
  • Manage and develop the relationships within the customer portfolio.
  • Work closely with local product organization to grow and deliver revenue growth For customers with specific area importance, develop account business plans that encompass ocean as well as Logistic & Services products.
  • Maintain an overview of the customers business within the geography.
  • Identify and win opportunities relevant to O&L products direction setting.
  • Sell standalone products depending on customer need
  • Define and deliver changes to business targets based on market/asset view.
  • Work with the Capacity / Campaign Manager function to formalize the commercial plans and ensure maximization of assets.
  • Actively monitor local NPS across segments and drive local initiatives to improve customer satisfaction for all local Accounts.
  • Manage stakeholders across the area, region and global functions.
  • Actively provide feedback to the sales channel lead based on customer feedback and insights.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 3 years’ track record of success in sales, preferably in the Logistics & Services industry.
  • Strong understanding of Ocean transport, and market dynamics, as well as value added services.
  • Excellent knowledge of Trucking.
  • Proficiency in English is a MUST.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
  • Willingness to travel and meet with clients as needed.
