Job Title: Front Desk Representative
Location: Lagos
Overall Function
- We are currently seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Representative. As the first point of contact for our students, faculty, and visitors, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth administrative experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome students, faculty, and visitors, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Handle student complaints or issues, escalating them to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Answer incoming calls and emails, providing prompt and accurate information or directing them to the appropriate department.
- Assist students with inquiries, enrollment, and registration processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for faculty and staff.
- Coordinate and manage room bookings for meetings, events, and classes.
- Maintain and update student and faculty records in the database.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or OND in education is required. Additional education or certification in administration or customer service is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced and sometimes challenging situations.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service to students and faculty.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
- Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, faculty, and visitors from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using office equipment, including phone systems, computers, and relevant software applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Remuneration
N80,000 Net – N100,000 Net per month, with benefits.
