We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Art Director (Graphic Design)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


  • At DMTC Agency, An Art Director works in areas of marketing and advertising to create various design materials, such as graphic design, motion graphics, product labels or brochures, that provide information about a company’s offerings.
  • They design these materials using digital illustration software.
  • They will follow the process from concept to rough layout to prototype to completed project.

As an Art Director/Animator, you will report directly to the Strategy and Creative Lead or any other person directed by the company, and your main duties will be as follows:

  • Deliver various marketing, branding, and offline and online communications across cross-channels.
  • Execute design projects on a tight timeline and deliver high-quality static and animated creative that drives engagement and helps meet business goals.
  • Ensure that all work, including internal and client, meets objectives & strategies for each project.
  • Ensure all designs and videos comply with specific internal and external brand guidelines.
  • Generating ideas and selling them to clients and other members of the team
  • Effectively helping the Sales team to win pitches by delivering high-quality concepts and creativity.


  • Listen, understand, and partner closely with your reporting manager and other team members throughout DMTCA.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Lead and Head of Content to create content plans, amplification strategies, and best practices to present and optimize content and creativity.
  • Effectively interact with internal departments, including the Account Management team, Sales, and Marketing, to complete design work for client campaigns.
  • Plan and manage creative workflow along with your reporting manager basis the direction and prioritization from management and the Content team and work with the brand managers team.


  • Think outside the box. Don’t settle for the expected approach. Blaze new trails. Create materials that go beyond the typical to inspire engagement, advocacy, and action.
  • Utilize lateral thinking in the design process.
  • Be a part of regular brainstorming sessions to enable a collaborative and cohesive approach to new ideas and programs.


  • 3 – 5 years of digital and print design or advertising experience
  • Knowledge and Core proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, Figma, Cinema 4D, Blender
  • The breadth of style and design capability
  • Extensive design portfolio.
