Position Overview

  • As the Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for anyone entering our premises.
  • Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing phone calls, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support to various departments.
  • The ideal candidate is courteous, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and assist visitors, clients, and employees as they enter the office.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, direct calls to the appropriate person or department, and take messages when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring it reflects our company’s professionalism.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, booking meeting rooms, and supporting various departments as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies and ensure all equipment is in working order.
  • Provide general information to visitors regarding the company and its services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of National Diploma.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanour.
