Job Title: Grants Officer

Description 
As a Grant Officer at Rolan Foundation, you will play a pivotal role in securing funding for our impactful initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Grant Proposal Development:
    • Research potential funding opportunities and assess their alignment with the foundation’s mission and goals.
    • Develop compelling grant proposals, ensuring accuracy, coherence, and adherence to submission deadlines.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Cultivate positive relationships with funding organizations, donors, and partners to enhance collaboration and grant support.
    • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders to gather necessary information for proposals.
  • Grant Management:
    • Oversee the entire grant life cycle, from application to reporting, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
    • Collaborate with program managers to track and report on grant progress and outcomes.
  • Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
    • Work with the finance team to develop accurate budgets for grant proposals.
    • Monitor grant spending and ensure financial accountability in accordance with grant agreements.
  • Research and Analysis:
    • Stay informed about funding trends, donor priorities, and best practices in grant management.
    • Analyze data and assess the impact of grant-funded projects for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Business, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in grant writing and grant management, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with donors and partners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and results-oriented environment.
