Frazimex Engineering Limited is a company set up to provide Engineering Design, Project Management and Consultancy services within the oil and gas industry.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Civil / Structural Design Engineer
Location: Rivers
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare Civil design and deliverables for feasibility studies, conceptual/basic engineering, FEED and DED.
- Preparation of Civil/structural Steel Design calculations
- Preparation of a fit-for-purpose steel and concrete drawings.
- Site visits for verification and as-built documentation.
- Adherence to the Scope of Work (SoW) and the prepared Master Document Register as it concerns Civil discipline.
- Carries out design of Foundations for equipment, shelters, pipe supports/Piperack, platforms, etc.
- Preparation of concrete and steel design calculation reports for Client’s approval
- Preparation of Concrete and Steel technical specifications.
- Preparation of material take-offs and Tender documents.
- Ability to interpret Geotechnical and Topographical reports for a fit-for-purpose foundation design.
- Perform inter-discipline design checks
Core Requirements
- B.Eng. Civil / Structural Engineering or other related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in similar role.
- Civil/Structural engineering expertise and competency in Basic Design, FEED and Detailed design.
- Excellent use of Engineering Software’s (i.e SACS, STAADPro, Tekla, Orion, AutoCAD, Ms Office and MS project).
- Conversant with National and International Codes, Standards and Engineering Practices used in the industry AISC, ACI, API-RP2A, Eurocodes and other International standards and company codes
