Job Title: Business Hub Dispatch Supervisor

Job Description
- This job role coordinates switching operations within the region to manage the energy allocated in line with SLA.
Job Responsibilities
- Co-ordinates the operation of all Network Activities in the Region.
- Maintains daily operating log on all operations both routine and emergencies.
- Receive hourly load readings from the Business Hub and report all operations to the HQ dispatch.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders in load coordination.
- Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform any other duty as requested by the Network Operations Head and TM.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering; A post-graduate qualification in power systems engineering or equivalent will be an added advantage
- Over 3 years’ Experience as a Dispatch Officer.
Technical competencies:
- Technical knowledge and understanding of the Business Hub networks & infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of principles and power distribution operations.
- Good technical knowledge in switching operation
- Good knowledge of materials used in electrical power systems.
- Safety and basic standard protection
- Proficient in the use of computers (MS Office application).
- Personal safety on the job awareness level.
- Understanding of electrical distribution Regulations and system.
