Corporate Relations Specialist at Mobile Foundation for Health Security & Rehabilitation (MHSR)

Mobile Foundation for Health Security and Rehabilitation Nigeria (MHSR) is a Youth – led initiative that focuses on Mobile Health Services, Sexual Health Education, Mobile HIV / STI Screening, Human Right and Advocacy, Capacity Building, Mental Health, Research and Documentation, Establishment of support groups and rehabilitation of Key Population through housing initiative for community that are most at risk to infection and diseases especially the Adolescents. MHSR is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization dedicated to giving mobile health services, doing research, training, and advocacy for vulnerable groups especially Key Populations to improve their health and build their capacity for a better standard of living. MHSR was founded on March 1st, 2014 and aims to reach Key Populations with quality HIV holistic services through collaborations with partners.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Corporate Relations Specialist

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description

  • Formulating PR Plans and Strategies: create comprehensive public relations plans and strategies to enhance the company’s voice and presence across various channels.
  • Managing Media Relations: Corporate Relations Specialists handle media requests, maintain relationships with journalists, and ensure positive coverage for the organization.
  • Writing and Editing Press Releases: writes press releases, speeches, and other PR materials to communicate the news and updates organization’s messages effectively.
  • Arranging Interviews: They coordinate interviews with key company personnel, ensuring that relevant information is shared effectively.
  • Liaising with Other Departments: Corporate Relations Specialists collaborate with various departments within the company to provide accurate information and effectively market the organization
  • Planning and Supervising Events: specialists organize and oversee events, fairs, conferences, and other promotional activities.
  • Supporting Promotional Plans: They collaborate with marketing teams to align PR efforts with overall promotional strategies.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Enthusiasm and Pleasant Personality: A positive attitude and pleasant demeanor contribute to successful interactions with various audiences.
  • Project Management Experience: Managing events and campaigns requires effective project management skills.
