Job Title: Customer Service Representative (Entry-level)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about products or services.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of customer service policies and procedures.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and chat messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and returns, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the purchasing process.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using CRM software.

Requirements
Education:

  • B.Sc / High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional training or coursework in customer service or related fields is advantageous.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and call center software is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with challenging situations or customers.
  • Multitasking capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications.

  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Fluency in multiple languages may be beneficial, depending on the customer base served.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with customers in person or over the phone.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.

Remunerations

  • Salary: N90,000 – N100,000 / month (Competitive salary).
