Financial Reporting Advisory Professionals (FRAP) – Our client whose Group of companies include a luxury Hotel in Abuja and Ocean Security Operations in Port Harcourt is recruiting qualified candidate to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Hotel Executive – House keeper

Location: Abuja

Summary of Responsibilities
The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

  • To ensure cleanliness, maintenance and management of all guestrooms, functions, public areas and back of house areas to the Housekeeping operational standards.
  • Preparation of Housekeeping Budget and ensure effective operation of the Housekeeping Department in line with Housekeeping Budget.
  • Maintenance of par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniform.
  • Organisation of inventories with Accounts and General Store for linen, uniform and fixed assets.
  • Must have a high attention to details especially with pest eradication activities; etc.

Qualification and Experience
We are looking for a candidate with right attitude, who is a team player and can work well under pressure. In addition, the successful candidate must possess:

  • A minimum of three (3) years Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management.
  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years post qualification working 5-Star experience.
  • Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be highly responsible and reliable.

 

Job Title: Head of Internal Audit

Location: Abuja

Qualification and Experience

  • A minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or its equivalent.
  • A member of a recognised professional Accounting body in Nigeria.
  • A minimum of 10 years post qualification working experience. Proven work experience as an Internal Auditor in a hotel or as Audit manager in an auditing firm that audit major hotels; will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and Accounting/Auditing Standards.
  • Must be familiar with relevant Accounting and Auditing Software.
  • Must possess high attention to details and excellent analytical skills.
  • Must have strong integrity and independent judgment.
  • Must have the capacity to maintain the integrity of the internal control system in order to comply with all financial reporting regulatory and Tax requirements besides meeting the corporate goals/objectives of the organization.

 

Job Title: Hotel Cost Controller

Location: Abuja

Summary of Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service.
  • Prepare and analyse food and beverage costs on a monthly basis and recommend alternatives to improve costs.
  • Assist in the monthly food and beverage inventories count and extension.
  • Establish and maintain a database for food and beverage inventory stock including up-to-date pricing.
  • Ensure proper storage and issuance of all food and beverage items.
  • Establish and maintain a cost allocation transfer system for food and beverage supplies to the various departments. Summarize these transactions for close of each financial period; etc.

Qualification and Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality is an advantage.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance or Management.
  • Previous hotel accounting experience (Minimum 3 to 5 years preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, prudent, organised and a team player.
  • Must be familiar with relevant software.
  • Must have a commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures as they relate to the position.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess a high degree of analytical ability and confidentiality.

 

Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Abuja

Qualification and Experience Required

  • A minimum of Bachelor of Science in Accounting or its equivalent.
  • A member of a recognised professional Accounting body in Nigeria.
  • A minimum of 10 years post qualification working experience. Previous experience as a Financial Controller in a similar organization will be an added advantage.
  • Must be familiar with relevant Accounting Software.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Must have the capacity to maintain the integrity of the financial reporting system in order to comply with all financial reporting, regulatory and Tax requirements besides meeting the corporate goals/objectives of the organization.
