Job Title: Recruitment Manager – Truck Driver
Location: Alakija, Lagos

Job Description
- Recruit, train, and asses drivers and their qualifications as per driving law
- Conduct background checks for drivers as well as their guarantors
- Coordinate drivers to ascertain timely pickup and delivery
- Conduct periodical inspections of vehicles in use
- Develop supportive relations with drivers on a professional level and collaborate with other departments to solve their problems.
- To manage a fleet of trailers and other heavy duty equipment while ensuring zero downtime always
- Keep track of driver hours and miles in coordination with load planners to achieve maximum productivity in given hours.
- Manage drivers/operators and ensure compliance to safety and company policies
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance
Requirements / Key Skills
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc qualification with 7 – 9 years work experience.
- Managerial and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in traffic laws
- Member of Nigerian Institute of Logistics.
